According to a Memorandum issued on 6/18/2010 by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regarding the "Further Implementation Guidance for the Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule", the purpose of the Memorandum is to provide supplemental guidance to the Regions on ENFORCEMENT of the RRP Rule.
In part said Memorandum states that the "until October 1, 2010, the EPA will take no enforcement action for violations of the RRP Rule's Firm Certification requirement."
